There is no civil war, in Serbia. Only damage can be when NATO bombed Serbia, in 1999, but I never heard that Aurometal was bombed.
Firm is in bankrupcty a few years ago.

At first, they made plastic flowers, fishing equipment and brass tables and signs:

I think "microbuss" referred to the actual Yugo-plant, which was bombed. Yugoslavia fell apart in seperate states after the wall fell, but it did not do this like in the former Czechoslovakia "velvet revolution" but in a civil-war style. Serbia was seen as the cause of the troubles and of ethnic cleansing and therefore NATO decided to bomb certain factories and other "key" targets. Amongst others, Russia was not pleased about this step by NATO.
