Matchbox Ambassador nummer 6 is Shabir Malik. Zijn e-mail is shabbir@shabbir.com  Hij vraagt een ieder die iets aan Mattel te melden of te vragen heeft dat aan hem te sturen voor het eind van de week (in het engels).

The '78 Dodge Monaco is a cool car. Is it possible to make it as a Yellow taxi and a Fire chiefcar? In dark green without rooflights, it would be  cool aswell. It was used in the TV-soap "Hunter".
The sheriff of the "Dukes of Hazzard" drove also a '78 Dodge Monaco.

Ofschoon Matchbox in 1950 al startte met de verkoop van Modellen (zie http://www.mbxforum.com/11-Catalogs/00-Software/jnmb75crdl.php?uChoice=D&uYear=1950&uCatalog=1000&uReturn=jnmb75cac.php )wil Mattel in 2012 aandacht besteden aan het 60 jarig jubileum van Matchbox. De grap is dat wij 40, 50 en 60 jaar gevierd hebben met resp. 1951, 1953 en 1952 als start jaar van Matchbox maar nog nooit 1950. American Calculation waarschijnlijk!!!

Nochtans raad ik zoveel mogelijk mensen aan de antwoorden op de volgende 6 vragen naar Shabir the sturen niet later dan Vrijdag 9 September (Sep 9, 2011) op shabbir@shabbir.com.

Ofschoon Matchbox in 1950 al startte met de verkoop van Modellen

Het was Lesney die al in 1948 startte met het verkopen van modellen en in 1953 was het Lesney die startte met het verkopen van modellen in de Matchbox serie!!

Het 60 jarig jubileum heb ik al in 2007 gehad omdat Lesney in 1947 opgericht werd wat later omgedoopt werd in Matchbox. De Lesney modellen, noch de Matchbox series, noch de Matchbox modellen bestaan 60 jaar of hebben 60 jaar bestaan, wat volgend jaar gevierd kan worden is de 65 jaar historie die het bedrijf heeft.
Maar goed, dat is dus mijn mening
