The 3-inch range will bring us only one all new casting from what i have noticed. This will be the Ford Fiesta WRC.
Ford Fiesta WRC:But in one corner of the stall, presented between large playsets and garages, i ran across a set of passenger car models, which are smaller in size than the usual 3-inch Norev we al know and by far simpler in construction. The wheels are cheaper and remind of The ones we know from Motor Max and Suntoys models.
Also, the cars don´t have clear plastic headlight inserts, but only silver tampos instead. nevertheless the selection of models is interesting, because it brings us some of the first representation sof those models to the small scale.
Their scale is much closer to real 1:64 than to the Norev Mini Jet range. I could not get any info from the representatives, they had literally no information at all about them. My suspicion is these could be the new freebie models included in the playsets, but this is just a guess. If i was going by the design of the wheels, i´d suggest these were Suntoys castings, but this of course can´t be taken for granted, especially because the bases clearly have the Norev logo on them. Quality wise i´d dare saying these are much closer to the origial vintage Mini Jets than the contemporary Mini Jet range.
