Having had them in my hand I see the quality is less compared to Kyosho. The rubber tyres come with small defects and for example the ride height is not always correct. The Clubman has something of a wrong feel to it. Compared to what Kyosho did themselves there is a marked difference. Having said that, the quality is not bad. It's just not the same level as Kyosho.
The Clubman seems a bit off i agree. It is definitely not the highlight of the series in my opinion.
Two or three models are Pullbacks, so this gives them a toy touch.
I was referring to overall build structure of the models and the quality of what i could see in person was very good.
The rubber tyres on Kyosho models have defects to, plus some models don't roll at all, which is a big minus in my eyes.
Having said that, it must be defined what Kyosho era i mean - definitely the new issues are more detailed than the early releases, but these Minis surely go hand in hand with these early Kyoshos.
Just the same case as the BMW promotional M-Collection, which are inferior to the Current Kyosho with their rearview mirror inserts, but together with the Kyosho BMW M3 CLS which dates a few years back for example, they look like the same series of models.
Still, if we complain about anything here, it is complaining on a high level and a typical first world problem rant.
I am still very Happy there are some unique to the scale Minis featured in this Pao Feng series and in a very decent level of detail too.
